0 box sets · 5 kits we track
The Polish Army of September 1939 - the first nation to fight Germany's new way of war, with a distinctive field cap of its own.
Poland fought a six-week campaign against Germany and, from mid-September, the Soviet Union too, fielding a mostly infantry army recognisable by its own four-cornered rogatywka field cap over khaki-green uniforms. Cavalry brigades still existed on paper but fought dismounted or as mobile infantry, not the doomed lance-charge of popular myth. With a small kit range listed here, it suits a single, self-contained army representing one short, specific campaign rather than years of war.
On the table: A small, straightforward infantry force built around one historical campaign rather than a long war.
