Gloomspite Gitz
3 box sets · 30 kits we track
Cave-dwelling grots, their bouncing squigs and lumbering trolls, all driven by a bad moon and worse ideas.
The Gitz are the comic-horror end of Age of Sigmar. Huge mobs of tiny grots in pointed hoods, fungal spider riders, deranged fanatics whirling on chains, and squigs - round, all-teeth animals that will eat anything, including their own riders. The range is a joy to paint because it is full of character rather than uniformity. Grot skin batch paints extremely quickly with a shade-first approach, and squigs are a licence to use every bright colour you own. Mushrooms and moonlight give the army its atmosphere, and object source lighting from glowing fungus is a popular way to tie a force together. High model count, low pressure per model.
On the table: A horde army of cheap, unreliable bodies backed by unpredictable monsters - numbers and chaos rather than quality.
