Space Marines who fight from shadow - black armour, pale skin, and a doctrine built on striking where nobody is looking.

The Raven Guard prefer infiltration, ambush and speed to the head-on assault most chapters favour. Their forces lean towards scouts, jump troops, speeders and anything that arrives before it is expected, and they are among the most likely marines to withdraw and try again. The scheme is black armour with bone-white faces and red eyes, which is fast to a table standard and a real test at display standard - highlighting black is the whole skill. It suits an edge-highlighting approach rather than drybrushing, and the chapter's pale flesh gives a strong point of contrast on every helmetless model.

On the table: A fast, stealthy marine force that strikes from unexpected angles rather than holding a line.
