Arch-form LED bench lamp

Paint Picker is now Hobby Supermarket. Same site, same prices, same shops.
A lamp is the only purchase on this list that changes every colour decision you make, because a colour mixed under warm household light is a different colour in daylight. Three numbers matter and the marketing rarely leads with them: colour rendering (how faithfully the lamp shows a hue), brightness, and colour temperature. A high rendering index is the one to insist on; brightness is easy and cheap by comparison.
The highest-value shelf here and one where a genuine comparison barely exists — the ranking pages are largely a manufacturer ranking its own lamp. Aim for a high colour-rendering figure and a temperature near neutral daylight, and be sceptical of any listing that quotes neither.
