Horus Heresy Solar Auxilia

1 box set · 20 kits we track

The Imperium's elite human soldiery during the Horus Heresy - drilled void-troopers fighting alongside a genuinely heavy tank park.

The Auxilia are what the Imperial Guard were before the Guard existed: professional, void-hardened regiments raised to fight beside the legions, in sealed carapace armour and standardised kit. They field Malcador and Leman Russ variants, Dracosan transports and Charonite ogryns. For collectors this is the Heresy's answer to a combined-arms army - infantry sections, artillery and a lot of tanks. The models are uniform in a satisfying way and batch paint well, while the vehicles give you large flat surfaces for weathering, unit markings and transfers. A good deal of the range is resin, so factor in the preparation time before you commit.

On the table: A disciplined combined-arms force: drilled infantry sections holding ground while heavy armour and artillery do the damage.
